Half asleep and eyes red
Staring at the moon
Realizing how beautifully it has been made
Lilly white in a black background
Is much more beautiful than it sound
The sickle shape resembles a smile
And the twinkling stars motivates to go an extra mile
The sparkling beauty makes the sleepless night worthwhile
A short nap of mine and the advent of dawn
All this beauty was gone…
The tender light was replaced by a bright sun
The chirping of birds has marked a new beginning
With lots of mysteries and uncertainties to unfurl
A new excitement and joy to unravel the suspense
And I realized that the life moves on and on
The day had passed and is going to be a history
Though it has left a mark on the subconscious mind
These memories can be recalled with a slight rewind
The day had passed and the moon is up again
Staring at the beauty…I am thinking again
What will life bring tomorrow?
A day…full of joy or sorrow
Left the thoughts and mysteries unsolved
Decided to enjoy the moment and leave the rest to life
As the suspense brings moments which one will ever cherish.
